Travel Itinerary
Day 1
Padang – Siberut – Mentawai Interior
06:10 AM – Meet at Muaro Port, Padang, and complete the departure process.
07:00 AM – Depart for Siberut Island by Mentawai Fast speedboat.
Transit in the northern area of Siberut with lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in Siberut, the journey continues by local vehicle to a riverside village, followed by a river trip using a traditional wooden boat called a pompong.
After arriving in the interior area, participants will take a light trek to the Uma, the traditional Mentawai house, and meet the local family as well as the Sikerei, the spiritual leader of the Mentawai community. The evening will be spent with the host family, experiencing the atmosphere of traditional life that remains well preserved to this day.
Day 2
Mentawai Tribe Daily Life

Breakfast.
08:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join local community activities:
- Learn about daily life inside the Uma
- Discover traditional medicinal plants
- Watch the process of making traditional tools
- Learn about the philosophy of Mentawai tattoos

Lunch.
01:00 PM – 05:00 PM
Light trekking and exploration around the forest.
05:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Free time and photography session.
07:00 PM
Dinner.
Overnight stay in a traditional Uma.
Day 3
Forest & River Exploration
07:00 AM
Breakfast.
08:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Trek deeper into the forest area:
- Explore traditional routes used by the local community
- Stop by a natural river to rest
- Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest
03:00 PM – 05:00 PM
Return to the Uma.
Overnight stay in a traditional Uma.
Day 4
From the Forest to Tropical Islands
07:00 AM
Breakfast.
08:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Trek back to the village.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch.
12:00 PM – 04:00 PM
Island hopping:
- Visit several small islands around Siberut
- Enjoy white-sand beaches
- Swim and relax
Landscape and drone photography, if you bring your own drone
05:00 PM
Check in at the beach accommodation.
07:00 PM
Dinner.
Overnight stay at a beach resort or beach accommodation.
Day 5
Snorkeling, Farewell & Return to Padang
The schedule on the final day will be adjusted according to the Mentawai Fast ferry departure schedule to Muaro Port, Padang.
08:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Snorkeling in Mentawai waters:
- Natural coral reefs
- Tropical fish
- Clear seawater
12:00 PM
Lunch on the beach.
01:00 PM – 03:00 PM
Free time:
- Relax on the beach
- Swim
- Beach photography
After the beach activities, return to Maileppet Harbor.
Depart for Padang by Mentawai Fast speedboat according to the ferry schedule.
Arrive in Padang, and the tour program ends.
